Hidden Kitchen

Tuesdays 10:00 am

With the cost-of-living crisis continuing to put pressure on households to access freshly prepared homecooked food, this programme has a dual purpose. It provides a social, supportive space for participants to cook together and then to share the meals with the community, via the affordable access model of our partners – The People’s Pantry
The Hidden Kitchen is an opportunity for people who are experiencing challenges in their lives which affect their mental or physical health to meet new people, improve their cooking skills, and support the local community.

From April we will be launching new blocks of five cooking sessions. Starting on the 23rd of April we will host these weekly workshops at The Hidden Gardens on Tuesdays from 10.00am – 1.00pm.
Sessions are led by our fantastic facilitator Angelika Kositzki and supported by a team of volunteers. Everyone gets involved with hands on food preparation, cooking, cleaning as well as lots of chat and cups of tea!
It is a warm, social space to spend time together sharing food. We welcome participants of all skills and abilities; however we may require that participants attend with a support worker if appropriate.

If you are experiencing isolation or stress caused by the cost-of-living crisis and you would enjoy cooking with others you can follow the link to register:
