What’s On at The Hidden Gardens

Activity

Hidden Kitchen

New block begins July 16th

With the cost-of-living crisis continuing to put pressure on households to access freshly prepared homecooked food, this programme has a dual purpose. The Hidden Kitchen provides a social, supportive space for participants to cook together and then to share the meals with the community, via the affordable access model of our partners – The People’s Pantry
The Hidden Kitchen is an opportunity for our community to meet new people, improve their cooking skills, and support others.
Beginning on the 16th of July there will be a new block of weekly workshops at The Hidden Gardens on Tuesdays from 10.00am – 1.00pm.
Sessions are led by our fantastic facilitator Angelika Kositzki and supported by a team of volunteers. Everyone gets involved with hands on food preparation, cooking, cleaning as well as lots of chat and cups of tea! It is a warm, social space to spend time together sharing food. We welcome participants of all skills and abilities; however we may require that participants attend with a support worker if appropriate.
