COP26 in The Hidden Gardens

Until 14 November

The Hidden Gardens

We are proudly hosting MINGA INDÍGENA elders from around the world together with their creative partner, THE ALLIANZA, to help share their climate action message.

The Minga Indigena would like to invite the people of Glasgow to bring offerings and gifts for our mother earth between 1-12th November. These can be placed on altars present around The Hidden Gardens, the Bowling Green and other local parks. These offerings might be fruits, flowers, home-made crafts, or anything that represents your individual and collective appreciation for the planet that we live in.

GALGAEL CARVINGS
Enjoy the artefacts on loan to Minga Indigena from the Galgael trust in Govan, hand carved by Colin Macleod at the Pollok Free State.

MINGA INDÍGENA AND ALLIANZA SOUND AND LIGHT INSTALLATION
A series of light /sound projections installed around the gardens, including Xylotheque, and Grassy Meadow.
The Allianza is a collective that has been summoned by LA MINGA to co-create a multisensory experience with 13 of the 100 Elders from LA MINGA representing 13 territories from Alaska to Patagonia.
