Curious about what makes soil nutritious for growing plants, blossoming flowers, and ripening vegetables? The Compost Co-Lab is a new project which showcases the process of transforming green waste into green gold – aka compost! The Hidden Gardens are partnering with Gallant, a living lab research project from the University of Glasgow.
Join us at our launch event for hands-on, family-friendly activities and an introduction to the new citizen science tests at the co-lab compost bays. We will be joined by Gallant and the Glasgow Community Food Network to open the lid on the process of compost, how it supports our ecosystem and what we will be doing over the course of the project.
This is a drop-in event suitable for all ages!
