Reflecting on Refugee Festival Scotland and All Water Is Connected in The Hidden Gardens. 
As we look back on Refugee Festival Scotland 2026, and the artwork All Water Is Connected by Grace Browne, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make this year’s festival so special in The Hidden Gardens!
From hosting the opening celebration to the Solstice Gathering, hundreds of people came together to share stories, celebrate creativity and build connections through art, culture and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, took part, volunteered, performed, hosted events and helped create such a warm and welcoming festival.
The Hidden Gardens was proud to host Grace Browne’s artwork All Water Is Connected. The artwork became a powerful thread running throughout the festival, reminding us of our shared humanity, the journeys which connect us, and the communities we build together.
Grace shared an aspect of her practice through pigment drawing at the Solstice Gathering closing event.
