From spreadsheets to cycling shorts

This summer Hidden Gardens’ Accounts whizz Stephen Burns swapped spreadsheets for cycling shorts to complete the trip of a lifetime: following his heroes on the Tour De France.
“Since watching the Tour de France with my father as a child, I gained a love of cycling. Still can’t believe I was in the French alps climbing some of the famous Cols, Alpe d’Huez etc.. For six days in a row, I felt like the King of the Mountains. Climbing in total seven Alpine monsters, each one approximately 2000 metres high. Very tough going up but once at the top a great sense of achievement and breathtaking scenery, and of course the joy of the descent…. what a buzz !!!”
Stephen- we salute you and your stamina.
