HANDMADE was an exhibition of photographic work produced by Clementine Sandison during The Hidden Gardens’ Culture Kitchen Relay : a 14 day road trip exploring local food and regional recipes in Scotland.
Culture Kitchen Relay opened up dialogue with food producers, community gardeners, farmers, crofters, fishermen, and cooks from across the country about their views on local food and their vision for a sustainable Scottish food culture. The exhibition sought to present the people producing our food and to recognise the fragile resources that our food system depends upon.

Clementine Sandison is Creative Producer of Culture Kitchen. Culture Kitchen is a creative project to stimulate and inspire new ways of thinking about Scotland’s Food. Culture Kitchen is presented by The Hidden Gardens: Scotland’s Sanctuary Gardens dedicated to peace.
Handmade ran in conjunction with Blasda – Scotland’s Local Food Feast, a festival co-ordinated by the Fife Diet.
