Congratulations to Navshin– our fabulous Greenthumbs gardening volunteer on winning ‘Outstanding Volunteer’ award sponsored by Voluntary Action fund at the recent CEMVO Scotland Ethnic Minority Impact Awards.

We are so grateful for all your hard work, warm approach and skilful contributions to the Gardens over the years. Thank you!

As Navshin says “I really love The Hidden Gardens and would like to volunteer as much and as long as I can, The Hidden Gardens has built my confidence a lot and really enjoy being there. “

The Hidden Gardens nomination;
Navshin has volunteered with The Hidden Gardens for the last 7 years in various capacities including as a tour guide and gardening, cookery and conversation class volunteer. She is an outstanding volunteer welcoming, friendly and always ready to help and encourage others. Throughout her time at The Hidden Gardens Navshin has increased her skills and knowledge and has undertaken two levels of the John Muir Award. She has made great friendships with other volunteers, supported and encouraged family members to volunteer and takes the opportunity to promote the work of the organisation. Navshin deserves to be recognized for her valuable contribution to our work and for her promotion of all that we do at the Hidden Gardens.
