This is the peoples’ back garden, everything we do nurtures this urban greenspace, for the benefit of the community and nature. By volunteering your time and talents, you are doing good for your own health and wellbeing , as well as helping others, and your community.

Opportunities

Garden Volunteering

We fundraise to offer award-winning gardening volunteering opportunities through the growing season (April to September). Opportunities will be posted on our social media and under “whats on” in 2024.

Corporate Volunteers

We offer a limited number of gardening sessions to teams of people working in Glasgow and surrounding areas, to come and help with garden maintenance and get closer to nature. 6 – 10 per team. Email amanda@thehiddengardens.org.uk for further info.

Volunteer Trustees

The Hidden Gardens Trust has overall responsibility for the Gardens and operates a board of volunteer trustees. They meet six times per year, to govern and create smaller sub groups who work alongside staff to complete specific tasks together. Vacancies are advertised on this website.

Advisory Group

Our advisory group comprises people from all walks of life who support the work of the trust. The group meets four times per year and feedbacks to the board. Expressions of interest are welcomed year-round. For an application form please contact administrator@thehiddengardens.org.uk
